Subject: [PATCH] threadpool.c: Minor cleanup fixes.

* Fix threadpool_alloc() prototype.

* Add missing off-nominal NULL check of pool in threadpool_alloc().

* searializer_create() does not need to create the object with a lock as
the lock is not used.
